Description:
Philips, a global leader in health technology, is hiring a Full Stack Developer for its core engineering hub in Bangalore. Operating inside an Agile, team-oriented local and global environment, this role focuses on designing, implementing, and validating highly resilient sub-systems and microservices that power mission-critical medical tech ecosystems. Rather than executing basic code updates, you will take ownership of complex prototyping and production engineering tracks. You will act as a strategic bridge, translating healthcare market needs into deterministic technical requirements while enforcing clean software professionalism standards—spanning advanced Object-Oriented design patterns, relational database optimization, and scalable full-stack integration frameworks.
Key Technologies:
Angular (v2+), C# / .NET (or Java), Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 / CSS3, Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, SQL Server / PostgreSQL, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Unix/Linux Environments, Agile Methodologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a strictly related quantitative technical field.
- 5 to 8 years of verified commercial web development experience focusing extensively on modern frontend architectures.
- Proficient hands-on engineering experience inside the Angular framework (v2 and above), supported by expert-level conceptual and practical mastery of HTML/HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven production-grade backend implementation experience utilizing Node.js (or Java), paired with a strong professional advantage in C# / .NET ecosystems.
- Solid working knowledge of web-based web application delivery systems, cross-origin protocols, and scalable microservices architectural patterns.
- Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), fundamental data structures, secure coding strategies, and modern software design principles.
- Direct experience with enterprise relational databases (specifically SQL Server or PostgreSQL), demonstrating the ability to write clean SQL logic, optimize queries, debug database constraints, and manage structural schema migrations.
- Functional familiarity working inside Unix/Linux environments (considered an advantage), version control systems, and active multi-tier code testing methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across local and global cross-functional frameworks and turn abstract requirements into production-ready software.
